The SpiritedKidZ Team
The SpiritedKidZ LearnsPace offers an Individual Development Program (IDP) based on the contributions of the multi-disciplinary team. Small achievable goals are set on a monthly basis and are evaluated on an ongoing basis.
The SpiritedKidZ are reviewed monthly by their therapists, who assess the progress and define the next month’s objectives, together with the tutor, the founder and the family. Daily, the tutor works on these objectives under the supervision of the founder.
We have built a comprehensive network of respected practitioners and professionals located within the northern suburbs. Our professional network includes members of the medical and alternative approaches community. These make up the multidisciplinary team that helps the SpiritedKidZ achieve their maximum physical potential. These include NDT physiotherapists, NDT/SI Occupational therapists, OT specializing in the AAC field, speech therapists (motor and language), paediatric and educational psychologist, educational psychologists, music therapists, art therapists, hypnotherapy practitioners and others. The SpiritedKidZ family will be guided when and where necessary.
The SpiritedkidZ are also welcome to keep their existing therapy practitioners, should they wish to do so.
The implementation and supervision of the prescribed therapeutical goals of the IDP at the LearnSpace is carried during the morning working session. After lunch and during aftercare, the SpiritedKidZ complete their practicing on their IDP.
To keep the SpiritedKidZ interested and keen to explore alternative learning styles, the senior teacher, the tutor and the founder participate in courses and workshops. These are organized by accredited organizations dedicated at raising the grassroots level education and/or awareness in the field of learning differences. This will take place either during the weekend or the week. Parents are encouraged and welcome to join.
