The SpiritedKidZ

The SpiritedKidZ are children who have verbal communication skills and experience learning challenges.

At The SpiritedKidZ LearnsPace, we are particularly interested in children who have physical barriers to learning and who are cognitively high functioning. Typically, these are the children with cerebral palsy, although not exclusively so.

We also welcome learners with special educational needs who have no physical challenges and who would thrive in a one-on-one learning environment. These are the children diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, ADD, ADHD or sensorial integration challenges.

Our focus is placed on the actual academic, emotional and social functioning levels of the children rather then on the chronological age. At The SpiritedKidZ LearnsPace, the children learn THEIR way, at THEIR pace.

The SpiritedKidZ LearnsPace also offers a specialized preparatory learning environment for learners with illness (who require frequent and prolonged visits at the hospital and at home for recovery). Often their age might not match with the conventional educational Grade classification. There can be a delay where, for instance, the child is 8 years old but is taught the Grade 1 curriculum.
